Leaders will review the implementation of the EU-China 2020 Strategic Agenda for Cooperation. They will also discuss multilateral cooperation on trade, climate and development issues, in addition to regional and foreign policy issues.

Conference: Cooperation between the public sector and civil society in providing social Services of General Interest: solutions and concepts in Member States.
This conference aims to exchange best practices of cooperation in different Member States and to reflect on the provision of social Services of General Interest at the European level.

Conference: Space & Society Conference – Towards a European Space Community.
The conference will be an opportunity to assemble protagonists of the space industry on a European and local level. Discussions will cover SMEs and the missing links for growth and the creation of new jobs opportunities, space educational activities and the creation of a European Space Community.

Study Group meeting: Improving the performance of national dual training systems

2nd Joint meeting between the EESC and the EU-Russia Civil Society Forum.
The objective of the meeting is to discuss themes of common interest for the EU and Russian civil society. On the agenda this year will be questions such as the restrictive legislation for civil society development in Russia, the role of media in influencing social and political processes, trans-border corruption and the impact of tensions in the EU-Russia relations on the EU and Russian societies.

Thursday 2 July

Civil society stakeholders discussion with the EU Chief Negotiator: Regulatory Cooperation in TTIP.
The Round table will enable civil society representative to comment the proposals of the European Commission on the regulatory cooperation chapter in TTIP, and to express their recommendations.

Public Hearing: Integrated EU Aviation Policy.
The objective of the hearing is to gather relevant views that will help the EESC shape concrete proposals for an integrated aviation policy in the EU and to identify the scale of possible benefits.

Committee of the Regions

Monday 29 June

2015 EU-China Urbanization Forum
The Urbanisation Forum consists of 4 subfora. One of these subfora, on energy sustainability, is organised jointly by the Committee of the Region’s E2 Unit, the European Commission, the Covenant of Mayors Office and Europe-China Clean Energy Centre (EC2). The other 3 subfora, also taking place at the CoR, are Smart Cities; Sustainable transport; and the Europe-China Forum on Sustainable Cities. The afternoon Plenary Session will feature the signature of agreements between cities/companies testified by the leaders – EC Pres. Juncker and Chinese PM Li Keqiang.

Stakeholder consultation on The simplification of the Common Agricultural Policy
The EU Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development has signalled that CAP Simplification is his priority for 2015. The Committee of the Regions as the guardian of subsidiarity can provide a fundamental contribution on how to make the CAP work for local and regional authorities.

Summit of European Jewish Communities ‘Building common answers,’ in Barcelona.
The summit aims to bring representatives of Jewish communities, professional on crises management and emergency preparedness, and experts on geopolitical and social issues together to reflect on the situation the Jewish communities after the events in Toulouse, Paris and Copenhagen.

Thursday 2 – Friday 3 July
Draft handbook on access to justice in Europe discussed at the Council of Europe
The meeting will be an opportunity for FRA to collect expert feedback on the second draft of its ‘Handbook on Access to Justice in Europe’ that it is preparing jointly with Council of Europe and the European Court of Human Rights.

Plenary meeting of the European Judicial Network in Criminal Matters
The agenda traditionally includes issues related to the most topical issues and the most frequently applied legal assistance tools in criminal and judicial cooperation, problems with their application or planned legislative initiatives, as well as cooperation with third countries.

European Crime Prevention network (EUCPN) Second Board meeting
The board meeting will bring together high-level officials from the EU Member States responsible for the coordination and dissemination of information on crime prevention in the corresponding Member States
