Norwegian voting rules

In 1983 implemented Norway one of the most liberal local election rules in the world. Everyone that wants to vote must turn 18 years of age within the end of the election year and be registered as living in Norway.  Norges flagg

Citizens of other Nordic countries have to register within the 30 of June the year the local election. For other foreign citizens it is required to register as residing in Norway over a three-year period before the election.
